Periodically, the Anaheim Ducks recognize a nonprofit in Southern California for their outstanding efforts in the community.
Defending the Blue Line
The Anheim Ducks are proud to name Defending the Blue Line (DTBL) as our Community Spotlight for the month of November. The Ducks have formed a great relationship with DTBL through the donation of charity tickets and have served as a beneficiary for our Military Appreciation Night. In August of this year, Head Coach Bruce Boudreau, Assistant Coaches Brad Lauer and Bob Woods and Ducks Defenseman Luca Sbisa took a trip to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar to spend a day with children from the San Diego Jr. Gulls Mite hockey team, who have benefited from Defending the Blue Line’s services.
